Yangju City, Recruiting Participants for 'Cultural Autonomy Vision Establishment Public-Private One Team Forum' Notice for Recruiting Participants for the 'Public-Private One Team Forum on Establishing a Vision for Cultural Autonomy'.

Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 29th that it will recruit participants for the 'Cultural Autonomy Vision Establishment Public Forum' to be held three times starting from November 14.


This public forum is organized to establish a cultural autonomy basic plan reflecting the voices of citizens, forming a consensus on cultural tourism policies, and deriving a vision for cultural autonomy.


The 1st and 3rd forums will be held on November 14 and 27, respectively, at the Engineering Building of Seojeong University, gathering opinions from experts and citizens from various perspectives to derive a cultural autonomy vision for the next five years.


The 2nd forum, scheduled for November 20, will visit Chuncheon, a cultural city, to explore the utilization of local resources and urban branding cases, and share opinions on the direction Yangju City should take.


Through this public forum, the city plans to listen to citizens' opinions on the direction of Yangju's cultural tourism policy and establish a basic plan for cultural autonomy in Yangju.


Any Yangju citizen can participate in the forum, and pre-registration is accepted via Naver Form until November 6 for group discussions and presentations.


A city official said, "To create a beautiful everyday cultural city of Yangju, we will gather citizens' opinions to prepare cultural tourism policies that citizens can feel and that contain a future vision," and added, "We ask for the active interest and participation of citizens."
