Announcing the Start of the Festival with the Cheongsong Cultural Festival
The highlight of the autumn festivals, the Cheongsong Apple Festival, will kick off on the 30th in the area around Yongjeoncheon (in front of Hyeonbiam), Wolmak-ri, Cheongsong-eup.
Running until November 3rd, this festival, under the theme "Cheongsong Apple, Endless Soaring," aims to widely promote the excellence of Cheongsong apples, which have won the Korea Representative Brand Award for 12 consecutive years, and showcase the charm of Cheongsong apples through various processed apple products and dishes.
On the first day of the festival, the 27th Cheongsong Cultural Festival, hosted and organized by the Cheongsong Cultural Center, will take place.
Starting with the "Cheongsong Dohobu-sa Parade," followed by the "Cheongsong Cultural Festival Opening Ceremony," and the "Memorial Ceremony for Queen Sohun," a variety of events that allow visitors to experience tradition will continue. In the evening, a celebratory performance featuring singers Lee Chan-won, Jin Hae-sung, and Song Sil-jang will heat up the festival atmosphere.
County Governor Yoon Kyung-hee said, "Through this Cheongsong Apple Festival, I hope everyone experiences the highest quality Cheongsong apples in Korea and the historic traditional culture of Cheongsong," adding, "As autumn deepens, I look forward to many people joining the festival and creating unforgettable memories."
