LG Electronics is launching a campaign for customers with visual, hearing, and physical disabilities as well as senior customers. To communicate product and service usage more easily and effectively, related videos have been produced. This is to realize LG Electronics' Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management vision of 'Better Life for All.'

On the 29th, LG Electronics announced that it will carry out the 'LG for Everyone, by Everyone' campaign. The videos were created after verification by customers with disabilities, senior customers, and experts. Collaboration was also made with disabled influencers and related organizations.

LG Electronics produced nine tutorial videos on the smart home platform 'LG ThinQ,' the assistive accessory 'Comfort Kit,' and the LG Electronics Best Shop one-on-one manager service called 'Best Companion Care Service,' which were released on LG Electronics' YouTube channel.

The content was tailored to the customer's perspective to be the easiest to use according to the type of disability. For example, the Best Companion Care Service video explains the phone reservation method for visually impaired customers and the sign language interpretation reservation method for hearing-impaired customers.

The participation of disabled influencers and related organizations also increased the campaign's impact. Hearing-impaired Kim Hajung, who runs the YouTube channel 'Hagyeol' (with 20,000 subscribers), appeared in the videos and introduced them on her own channel. The videos were also posted on eight major organizations including the Korea Blind Union, Korea Deaf Association, Korea Senior Welfare Center Association, and key communities such as 'Cheoksuya Saranghae' and 'Neolbeun Maeul.'

To enhance the professionalism of the videos, an 'Accessibility Advisory Group' consisting of people with disabilities, seniors, and academic experts has been reviewing them since June. The advisory group checked the video speed and content comprehension. Through their consulting, recent major search portals now display wheelchair accessibility and disabled parking information when searching for stores.

Lee Samsu, Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of LG Electronics, said, "We will continue various efforts to improve accessibility so that everyone can use products and services equally without being marginalized."
