Korea Land and Housing Corporation Hanam Residential Welfare Branch, Food Kit Support Project

Korea Land and Housing Corporation Hanam Residential Welfare Branch, Food Kit Support Project Hanam City Comprehensive Social Welfare Center is conducting a food kit support project to assist the dietary needs of vulnerable groups in collaboration with the Korea Land and Housing Corporation Hanam Residential Welfare Branch.

The Gyeonggi Hanam City Comprehensive Social Welfare Center announced on the 28th that, together with the Korea Land and Housing Corporation Hanam Residential Welfare Branch, it conducted a food kit support project to assist the dietary needs of vulnerable groups over two days, on the 16th and 17th.


This project was organized to provide necessary nutrition to households experiencing economic difficulties and to enhance the sense of solidarity within the local community.


The food kits included basic groceries such as soup, canned goods, and instant foods. The Korea Land and Housing Corporation Hanam Residential Welfare Branch provided gift certificates worth approximately 2 million won to purchase groceries. Staff personally prepared the food kits to be delivered to 50 vulnerable households in the area and visited each home to distribute the items.


Kim Yong-hyun, head of the Korea Land and Housing Corporation Hanam Residential Welfare Branch, stated, "In the ongoing economic downturn, we aim to help vulnerable groups secure proper nutrition. We will continue to actively promote various support projects for neighbors in need within the community."


Kim Hye-seong, director of the Hanam City Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, expressed, "We deeply thank the executives and staff of the Korea Land and Housing Corporation Hanam Residential Welfare Branch for their generous sharing to help neighbors in need. The food support project is expected to have a significant impact not only by supporting healthy eating habits and alleviating economic burdens but also by strengthening social solidarity within the community. We will continue to do our best to be a great help in resolving the economic and psychological difficulties of the local community."
