The Hoicheon 2-dong Together Care Center in Yangju-si, Gyeonggi Province (Director Kim Hyung-seon) announced on the 28th that it was selected for the 2024 Lottery Fund Care Enhancement Program and carried out the emotional enrichment activity for children [Mind Recharge: Immersion] project.
This program was planned as an emotional program that greatly influences the development of growing children.
The main programs included art emotional psychotherapy (group expressive art psychotherapy), facilitation (methods to express thoughts and communicate), emotional stability experience programs (ceramic crafts, flower arranging, board games), and a one-day camp (Todo Play), aiming to promote emotional stability and proper socialization of children.
The Hoicheon 2-dong Together Care Center in Yangju-si, operated under consignment by Dreaming Children and the World (a non-profit organization), was opened in November 2021 to address blind spots in local care and provide gap care functions.
At the center, various programs are provided reflecting the needs of children based on the children's autonomous council, opinion collection, and satisfaction surveys, offering appropriate programs for child development in culture, education, arts, physical activities, and emotions through both in-house and external programs.
