Damyang County (Governor Lee Byeong-no) announced on the 28th that it conducted the "Damyang Love Address Acquisition" campaign on the 25th, touring the Meta Provence area together with the Youth Policy Council.

The campaign was organized to raise awareness about the ongoing population decline and the risk of local extinction, and to provide an opportunity for youth and local merchants to consider ways to coexist and thrive together.

The county and the Youth Policy Council visited stores located in Meta Provence and encouraged merchants who actually reside in Damyang but have not changed their official address to within the jurisdiction to do so, while promoting the benefits provided upon address relocation.

Additionally, the county is implementing a "One Company, One Manager System" targeting local businesses to encourage workers residing in the area to move their official address within the jurisdiction. As part of population increase policies, the county is expanding support programs such as dormitory fee assistance for local high school and university students, housing management fee support for military personnel, and pantry package support projects upon relocation.

Lee Byeong-no, Governor of Damyang County, stated, "We will strengthen the promotion of relocation policies in cooperation with various organizations to ensure that this campaign is not a one-time event but leads to sustained population growth effects."
