Gwangju City held a "Customized Consulting for Bus Crew Employees and KD Transportation Recruitment Interview" on the 25th at the Dorandoran Rest Area inside City Hall in collaboration with KD Transportation Group, followed by a commemorative photo. Gwangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Bang Se-hwan) announced on the 28th that on the 25th, it held a "Customized Consulting for Bus Crew Employees and KD Transportation Recruitment Interview" at the Dorandoran Lounge inside the city hall in collaboration with KD Transportation Group.
This recruitment event was organized by the Gwangju Job Center and KD Transportation Group as part of creating jobs for middle-aged and older adults, providing an opportunity to access extensive information and employment guidelines about the profession of bus crew employees.
On that day, 72 job seekers participated in the consulting and recruitment interviews (70 bus crew employees, 2 cooks), and 45 were scheduled for employment (43 bus crew employees, 2 cooks). This participation rate is 1.4 times higher and the scheduled employment rate is twice as high compared to the recruitment results conducted in April.
One job seeker who received consulting said, "After listening to the consulting, I began to think positively about the job of a bus crew employee and was able to obtain practical information such as wages, years of service, and welfare benefits. I will steadily prepare according to the guidelines provided and consider becoming a bus crew employee as a second career for my retirement."
A city official stated, "We hope to present a new path and provide significant help to middle-aged and older job seekers in the area who wish to be re-employed. We will continue to strive to provide practical information that aids re-employment and help middle-aged people find proper jobs."
Meanwhile, the recruitment of bus crew employees by the Gwangju Job Center and KD Transportation Group is conducted once a month through regular interviews at the Gwangju Bus Terminal.
