Ulsan City Ulju-gun has launched the KakaoTalk chatbot service ‘Sowonbot’ to quickly provide small business support policies and guidance.
Sowonbot is short for ‘Small Business Support Chatbot,’ a conversational messenger service that allows small business owners to obtain necessary information in real time regardless of time and place.
This service was introduced to enhance access to policy information in an era where smartphone use is widespread. Ulju-gun plans to expand mobile-based policy information provision and link participation and application systems through the service to improve small business owners' access to policies.
To use the service, search for Sowonbot in the KakaoTalk friends list and add the channel. By entering questions or selecting prepared menus, users can easily check information on various small business support policies of Ulju-gun.
The Sowonbot service provides information by sector such as small businesses, social enterprises, village communities, and village enterprises, and is also used as a participation window for Ulju-gun related projects.
An Ulju-gun official stated, “Starting with the introduction of this chatbot service, we will continue to discover various services using mobile platforms to provide small business owners with more convenient and prompt information,” and added, “We ask for the interest and use of many small business owners.”
