bhc Chicken's experience program, ‘bhc Ppuring Ppuring Cooking Class,’ is gaining popularity.
According to bhc on the 28th, after a three-month pilot operation, the bhc Cooking Class, officially launched last April, has seen the number of applicants exceed the recruitment quota every month. Most reservations are fully booked through the end of this year.
The bhc Cooking Class is an experience program where participants form teams of two to make signature menu items such as ‘Ppuringkle’ and ‘Sweet Crispy Cheese Balls’ themselves. Participants can enjoy interesting content including the brand’s history and the backstory of new menu creations. Anyone from general consumers to groups ranging from a minimum of 15 to a maximum of 28 people?such as students majoring in dining out, clubs, corporate and institutional employees, and welfare organizations?can participate. Applications can be made through the official Instagram, and participation is free of charge.
So far, a total of 202 people from 10 groups have participated in the bhc Cooking Class, including students from Jang-an University’s Franchise Management Department, youths from Yongsan Education Welfare Center including multicultural families, elementary and middle school children and their fathers from Yewon Kindergarten, and international students from Itaewon Global Village Center.
Participants received theoretical education covering the history of the bhc chicken brand, the chicken farming process, and the entire process from farm to table. They also had practical sessions where they cooked chicken menu items and side dishes themselves. Additionally, a Q&A session was held to address various questions. All participants were given bhc chicken goods such as pens and eco bags, along with the chicken dishes they prepared, as souvenirs.
A bhc Chicken representative said, “We are actively conducting experiential marketing activities to enhance trust in our brand and products and to build intimacy and bonds with consumers,” adding, “We will continue to make various efforts to provide differentiated brand experiences.”
