Kakao to Hold Its Largest Annual Discount Event, 'Kakao Shopping Festa'

On October 28, Kakao announced that it will be holding its largest annual commerce event, 'Kakao Shopping Festa,' until November 3.

Kakao Shopping Festa is a large-scale event that brings together all of Kakao's commerce services, including the KakaoTalk Shopping Tab, KakaoTalk Gift (hereafter referred to as Gift), KakaoTalk Shopping (hereafter referred to as Shopping), and Kakao Shopping Live (hereafter referred to as Kasha).

The event features double discounts and promotions across all categories, from health foods and ready-to-eat meals to home appliances, fashion, and beauty. During the event period, users can enjoy double discount benefits by using coupon packs available on Gift, Shopping, and Kasha, as well as receiving an instant 10% discount when paying with Kakao Pay.

Gift will unveil specially selected daily deals on products ranging from food to beauty and will provide two types of coupons that can be used on Gift. Shopping will offer daily coupons of up to 70,000 won on a first-come, first-served basis. To celebrate Kakao Shopping Festa, Kasha will feature products planned directly by popular influencers such as Okjoobu, Aori, Giwoosaem, and Hong Younggi, as well as collaboration items. In addition to the coupon packs and Kakao Pay discounts, all customers who make a purchase during the live broadcast will receive a seven-day trial of Kakao Emoticon Plus.
