Kumho Construction invited CEOs from about 20 partner companies to its headquarters to listen to their safety and health difficulties and suggestions, and to share opinions on a fair cooperative relationship.
At this meeting, a special lecture was held under the theme of ‘Establishing a Safety and Health System that Managers Should Know.’ The lecture included content on building a safety and health management system to prevent major industrial accidents, which received great response from the partner company CEOs.
A ‘Safety and Health Zero-Accident Pledge Ceremony,’ expressing the commitment to actively participate in safety and health activities, was also conducted. The zero-accident pledge included ▲strict compliance with safety and health-related laws and regulations ▲providing a safe and pleasant working environment for workers through practice and verification ▲improving safety and health levels through communication and cooperation ▲creating a safety and health culture involving all members.
Awards were also presented to outstanding partner companies in three fields: architecture and housing, civil engineering and plant, and machinery, electrical, and equipment. This was a result reflecting the suggestions from the 2023 meeting.
A Kumho Construction official said, “This meeting was a valuable time to listen to the difficulties of partner companies and build consensus,” adding, “We will continue to communicate with partner companies and strive to become a company that pursues mutual growth.”
