WinHytec conducted the ‘Zero Safety Accident! Challenge Campaign’ at the Changdong Minja Station Phase 2 site.
WinHytec, a comprehensive construction materials specialist company (co-CEOs Song Jaeun and Park Sungtae), announced on the 28th that it carried out the ‘Zero Safety Accident! Challenge Campaign’ as part of safety activities aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of safety inspections for construction site workers and supervisors.
WinHytec regularly conducts safety training once every six months. This year, it was held in April at Samsung Electronics Pyeongtaek Office Building 3, and in the second half of the year, safety inspections were conducted at the Changdong Minja Station Phase 2 site.
This campaign was conducted to minimize hazards within the construction site and to promote a safety culture by raising awareness of safety responsibility as a ‘Safety Leader’ who takes charge of the site. Additionally, to achieve more systematic and advanced safety management, the Safety and Health Management Team was upgraded to the Safety and Health Management Office, and experts were recruited to carry out meaningful safety culture supporter activities through various safety and health initiatives.
WinHytec has been focusing on establishing an advanced safety and health management system and strengthening capabilities in the safety and health field. As a result, it has obtained and maintained the highest level of certification in safety from the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA-MS), becoming the first in the deck plate industry to do so.
Park Sungtae, co-CEO and head of safety at WinHytec, emphasized, “To achieve the goal of ‘Zero Safety Accidents!’, we are committed to building a safety and health system through voluntary safety inspections and eliminating harmful and dangerous factors. We will do our best to establish a culture where all employees and workers recognize and practice the importance of safety inspections.”
Meanwhile, WinHytec has decided to build a third factory and invest in facility equipment, focusing on expanding production capacity and securing future growth engines.
