Along with the signing of the business agreement, the Korea Federation of Micro Enterprise explained and delivered 56 regulatory improvement tasks by industry that have chronically made the management environment difficult for micro enterprises to the Ombudsman.

The main proposed tasks include △establishing a new contract type for electricity rates for micro enterprises, △expanding the permitted industries under the Employment Permit System for foreign workers, △expanding the issuing institutions for small business and micro enterprise certification, and △easing the traffic inducement charges for micro enterprises.

The Small and Medium Business Ombudsman plans to carefully review the delivered tasks, seek solutions through consultations with relevant ministries, and then report the results back to the Korea Federation of Micro Enterprise.

Song Chi-young, president of the Korea Federation of Micro Enterprise, said, "Taking this business agreement as an opportunity, we will communicate more closely and strive to ensure that the voices from the micro enterprise field are well conveyed to policy authorities," adding, "Uniform regulations should be adjusted to fit the realities of micro enterprises, and unnecessary regulations should be reasonably improved as soon as possible."

Choi Seung-jae, the Ombudsman, stated, "In a very difficult livelihood economy, creating an economic environment where micro enterprises can grow is the core of regulatory improvement," and added, "We will cooperate as two organizations to improve outdated practices and enhance the vitality of micro enterprises."
