Kookmin University announced on the 28th that it held a ceremony commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Graduate School of Public Administration.

The event began with a fundraising campaign for development funds conducted jointly by current students and alumni, followed by a commemorative tree planting and time capsule sealing, as well as the presentation of merit awards. About 300 alumni, including Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon and Seongbuk District Mayor Lee Seung-ro, participated.
Ha Hyun-sang, Dean of the Graduate School of Public Administration, said, "The 40th anniversary event of the Graduate School of Public Administration is significant in that it was co-hosted by alumni, current students, and the university, strengthening unity and laying the foundation for future development."
Jung Seung-ryeol, President of Kookmin University, stated, "As a leading graduate school of public administration in Korea that practices 'Gukri Minbok' (national benefit and people's welfare), we will provide wholehearted support so that it can become a graduate school that leads the nation and nurtures global talents expanding worldwide."
