[Tomorrow's Weather] Mostly Cloudy with Temperatures Above Average

On Monday, October 28, the last Monday of the month, the whole country will be mostly cloudy, with dense fog forming in the central inland areas during the early morning and morning before clearing up. Rain will fall in various places in the mountainous areas of the Gangwon East Coast.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 27th, from dawn to morning on the 28th, dense fog with visibility less than 200 meters will form in the inland areas of Gyeonggi and Gangwon, and northern inland areas of Chungcheong. Other inland areas of Chungcheong and northern inland areas of Gyeongbuk will experience fog with visibility less than 1 kilometer in some places.

On roads adjacent to rivers, lakes, and valleys, fog may be even denser than in surrounding areas, so special attention should be paid to traffic safety.

Although the whole country will be mostly cloudy, the central inland areas will generally be clear once the fog lifts in the morning.

Temperatures will remain above average for the time being. Morning lows are forecast to be between 8 and 16 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs between 14 and 22 degrees Celsius.

There is a forecast of rain for the Gangwon East Coast, Gyeongbuk East Coast, and northeastern mountainous areas of Gyeongbuk. Due to the easterly winds, rain will begin on the northern Gangwon East Coast from the night of the 27th and will continue on the Gangwon East Coast and mountainous areas on the 28th. Expected precipitation amounts are around 10 to 60 mm. Rain will start on the morning of the 28th on the Gyeongbuk East Coast and northeastern mountainous areas of Gyeongbuk, and during the day in inland Gyeongbuk, Busan, and Ulsan. At night, some rain will also fall in the southern coastal areas of Jeonnam, southern coastal areas of Gyeongnam, and northwestern inland areas of Gyeongnam.

As the easterly winds intensify, there will be places along the East Coast where wind gusts reach around 15 meters per second, so attention should be paid to facility management and accident prevention.

The marine conditions are also unfavorable, so special caution is required for safety accidents along the coast. A wind wave advisory has been issued for the outer southern seas of Jeju Island, and from the 28th, very strong winds and waves up to 3.5 meters high are expected.
