Jeonbuk Office of Education Holds the '1st World Citizen Camp'

Held at Muju Deogyusan U-Sta Town on 25-26
336 Overseas Training Students Participate to 'Share Experiences'

The '1st Global Citizen Camp' hosted by the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Office of Education (Superintendent Seo Geoseok) was held for two days from the 25th to the 26th at Muju Deogyusan U-Sta Town.


According to the Jeonbuk Office of Education on the 28th, a total of 336 students who participated in overseas training programs from 2023 to 2024 shared their experiences and sought continuous growth during this camp.

The camp was designed to foster creative thinking and experience diverse cultures through career lectures and cultural performances. Additionally, 20 supervising teachers conducted mentoring sessions to share various experiences together. Participating students spent time enhancing their capabilities as global citizens through expert lectures, performance sharing and mentoring, and eco-enteering activities.


Superintendent Seo Geoseok said, "The inaugural Global Citizen Camp will be an important opportunity for students to develop the competencies necessary to grow as global citizens," adding, "We will continue to actively support more students to go out into the world, gain experience, and grow."
