October 29-31, ‘The 10th International Students’ Start-up Conference’
"Connecting the startup ecosystems of various countries and gifting valuable experiences to the future startup leaders"
Dongmyung University will host the 10th International Students’ Start-up Conference from October 29 to 31.
University students selected from 12 countries including Germany, the United States, Japan, and Vietnam will gather at Dongmyung University to form global mixed teams, engaging in diverse activities to generate and share creative and innovative startup ideas.
Following the welcome event for overseas universities and the main conference, on the 31st, participants will tour startup institutions in Busan such as the makerspace "Mandeulsup," the "Eurasia Platform Start-up Cafe," and the startup shared factory "Root." This provides an opportunity for global startup benchmarking and experiencing the local startup ecosystem.
Participants will receive awards, certificates of completion, and various souvenirs through competitions, as well as share global startup items and case studies. Marking its 10th anniversary, this international conference is expected to proceed with the largest number of participating universities and students both domestically and internationally in its history.
Hosted by the Ministry of Education, the National Research Foundation of Korea, and Busan City, and jointly organized by Kyungil University, Dongmyung University, Dongshin University, and Jeju Tourism University. Supported by Busan Nam-gu, Busan Economic Promotion Agency, and Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
