October 25th, 2 PM, Geumcheon-gu Planning Situation Room Hosts 'Safety Management Plan' Meeting
About 40 Construction Site Officials Participate Locally
Geumcheon-gu (District Mayor Yuseonghun) announced on the 25th that it held the second session of the "Geumcheon-gu Construction Safety Academy" for construction project stakeholders in the 9th-floor Planning Situation Room.
About 40 people, including construction company representatives responsible for preparing and reviewing safety management plans and public officials, attended the training.
This academy was planned to enhance practical understanding of safety management plans, safety inspections, and the Construction Safety Information Network (CSI) to prevent safety accidents, and to raise awareness of the importance of safety management plans through examples of on-site deficiencies.
The training was conducted by Shin Seongsu, Head of Policy Planning at the Korea Institute of Technology, who lectured on the preparation and review methods of safety management plans and the role of experts through analysis of safety accident cases at construction sites.
In particular, during the training, emphasis was placed on ▲the processing procedures for safety management plans ▲submission methods through the Construction Safety Information Network ▲analysis of deficient safety management plan cases ▲and the importance of preparing safety management plans.
The district plans to conduct two professional safety training sessions next year as well to improve safety levels at construction sites and minimize the risk of accidents.
Yuseonghun, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, said, "Safety is the top priority at all construction sites," and added, "We hope that through this training, all stakeholders will once again recognize and practice the importance of safety management."
