Namyangju City Successfully Hosts Musical and Puppet Show Performances for Infants and Toddlers

Namyangju City held performances of the infant and toddler sexual violence prevention musical "Deulsseok Deulsseok Jungle Forest" and the children's climate environment puppet show "Fine Dust Bye Bye" on the 22nd and 24th.

Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 25th that it held performances of the infant and toddler sexual violence prevention musical "Deulsseok Deulsseok Jungle Forest" and the children's climate environment puppet show "Fine Dust Bye-bye" over two days on the 22nd and 24th.

The performances were organized to provide infants and toddlers with opportunities to develop the ability to protect their own safety and to learn the importance of environmental protection, and were designed in a way that children could easily understand.

The infant and toddler sexual violence prevention musical taught young children how to protect themselves, while the climate environment puppet show educated them on the dangers of fine dust and ways to respond, raising awareness of the need for environmental protection.

In particular, friendly characters came down into the audience during the performances to interact with the infants and toddlers and convey the themes, enhancing immersion in the show. After the performances, a photo zone with character dolls was operated, providing children with pleasant memories.

Park Eun-mi, Director of the Namyangju City Childcare Support Center, said, "We hope that through education tailored to the developmental level of infants and toddlers, they will be able to acquire the ability to respond to safety accidents on their own."

Meanwhile, the performances were promoted through collaboration between the Namyangju City Childcare Support Center, the Childcare Safety Mutual Aid Association, and the Gyeonggi Environment and Energy Promotion Agency.
