This festival is a village event commemorating the Urban Vulnerable Area Living Improvement Project, proposed and participated in by residents.
Previously, as part of the Urban Vulnerable Area Living Improvement Project selected in 2021, the city completed alleyway maintenance such as road paving, fence painting, and mural creation in the Toegyewon 1, 3, and 13-ri areas. As a pre-event, activities include reorganizing the village garden and alley garden, and exhibiting succulent plant pots made and donated by residents to the village.
On the day of the festival, the Saetteul Market operated directly by residents will have sharing booths offering rice cakes, fruits, beverages, finger foods, and an aromatherapy experience booth, along with sales of local agricultural products and handicrafts.
Additionally, various cultural performances such as janggu drum performances by Punggakjaengi, the Toegyewon Women's Choir, and performances by guitar clubs featuring music and singing will be held, allowing residents to come together and enjoy.
Furthermore, a photo exhibition conducted by the Toegyewon Urban Regeneration Field Support Center and "Colorful Walk," artworks depicting Toegyewon's old shops painted by residents, will be displayed to enrich the festival.
