Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyung-deok) announced on the 25th that Songnae 1 District has been selected as the cadastral resurvey project area for 2025, and an implementation plan has been established.
Songnae 1 District consists of approximately 157 parcels covering about 90,000㎡, located around the Songnae 2-dong Community Center. Following the establishment of the implementation plan, the city will commence full-scale work on the 2025 cadastral resurvey project and plans to send guidance letters to landowners and hold residents' briefings in the future.
The cadastral resurvey project is conducted to correct discrepancies between the actual status of land and the registered details in the cadastral records, and to convert the registered cadastral maps into digital cadastral maps, aiming for efficient use of national land and protection of citizens' property rights.
In particular, keeping pace with the 4th Industrial Revolution era, the city plans to actively utilize drones owned by the city to capture the project area for accurate status assessment and boundary setting, as well as during boundary consultations with landowners.
A city official stated, “Since the cadastral resurvey project enhances the value of land use by resolving boundary disputes, regularizing land shapes, and eliminating blind spots, we ask for the active participation and cooperation of landowners to ensure smooth progress.”
