Daegu City will operate the visiting employment counseling service "Good Job Cafe" on the 28th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Hands Coffee Unam Station branch in Buk-gu, Daegu, for women with career interruptions and unemployed women seeking jobs.
The event is hosted by the Daegu Women's New Work Center and involves 9 companies planning to hire 25 women. It will proceed with direct hiring (3 companies, 15 people) through on-site interviews and indirect hiring (6 companies, 10 people) by recommending job seekers to the respective companies.
The three companies conducting on-site interviews are Coupang Fulfillment Service Co., Ltd., Daegu Sinhwa Fisheries Co., Ltd., and Fisheries Market Live Fish Center Co., Ltd. The six companies for indirect hiring are Eunkwang Industry, Yonsei Forest Nursing Home, Hive Co., Ltd., Agricultural Corporation Ilgwang Co., Ltd., M Hospital, and Dongbang Tech.
The job openings for women on this day, both direct and indirect, include logistics staff, materials office workers, store display staff, accounting clerks, care workers, call center counselors, cooks, cleaners, and simple manufacturing workers.
Additionally, various employment support services such as one-on-one customized employment counseling considering individual career, age, and career interruption period, job information, vocational training course guidance, and psychological counseling will be provided free of charge.
In particular, this event is supported by the local company "Hands Coffee," which provides the venue so that job seekers can participate in job search activities in a more comfortable environment. Beverages and souvenirs will be provided to participants wishing to find employment to motivate their job search, including job registration and career counseling.
If it is difficult to visit on the day of the event, contacting the Daegu Women's New Work Center will provide customized job counseling considering career, age, and desired job type, as well as employment linkage and post-employment follow-up services.
