HiteJinro Supports Mobile Vehicles for Elderly Living Alone and Disabled for 10 Years

Support for a Total of 80 Units Since 2015

HiteJinro announced on the 25th that it has supported 14 mobile vehicles for social welfare institutions this year.

HiteJinro's mobile vehicle support project is a social contribution activity that has been ongoing for 10 years as part of its support for vulnerable groups. Over the past 10 years since 2015, a total of 80 mobile vehicles have been provided to 80 social welfare institutions nationwide.

In particular, this year, in celebration of its 100th anniversary, the support was expanded from compact cars to large vans. Among these, a total of 3 vehicles are wheelchair lift-modified vehicles that provide better mobility convenience for neighbors with mobility difficulties.

The mobile vehicles used for socially vulnerable groups such as elderly living alone and homebound disabled persons with mobility difficulties were funded by a portion of the prize money from players participating in the HiteJinro Championship golf tournament held in early October and donations from HiteJinro.

Kim In-gyu, CEO of HiteJinro, said, "To commemorate HiteJinro's 100th anniversary, we newly supported vans to ensure the mobility convenience of our neighbors with mobility difficulties and expanded support by increasing wheelchair lift-modified vehicles. As a company with a 100-year history, we will continue to carry out various sponsorships with a sense of social responsibility and spread positive influence in our society."
