From Camping Burners to Sausages... GS25 Launches Camping-Exclusive Products

Collaboration with Global Outdoor Brand Helinox
Presented 'Crazy Camping Pack' Seafood Udon with DOD

GS Retail's convenience store GS25 announced on the 25th that it will launch new camping-exclusive products in collaboration with global outdoor brands Helinox and DOD for the autumn season.


The first product to be introduced is the Helinox Sausage Platter, which will be released on the 31st. Designed for easy cooking during camping, it includes four types of sausages, ketchup, mustard, and chopsticks in an aluminum container, priced at 24,000 KRW. During the pre-order event held on the Uri Dongnae GS app on the 21st, all 2,000 units prepared were sold out in about three hours.

Other products include ▲Helinox Camping Kimchi Ramen (Plate) ▲Helinox Camping Kimchi Ramen (Container) ▲Helinox Saturn Bird Coffee (Tumbler). The Helinox Camping Kimchi Ramen is four times larger than regular cup ramen, designed for sharing among several people during camping. Additionally, a plate (tray) and container are included, which can be used as cooking utensils while camping. The plate (tray) and container can be combined with each other.


The Helinox Saturn Bird Coffee (Tumbler) maintains the original aroma of the coffee through a freeze-drying process and easily dissolves in cold water and milk. It allows convenient coffee drinking outdoors, and the container is a reusable cup that can be recycled and used as a seasoning container or merchandise.


The two types of Helinox Camping Kimchi Ramen and Saturn Bird Coffee (Tumbler) are available for pre-order through the Uri Dongnae GS app starting from the 25th and will be sold offline from the 8th of next month. Additionally, two types of Helinox coffee (Americano Yirgacheffe, Americano Kopi Royal) are scheduled to be released in November.


Lastly, GS25 is collaborating with the camping brand DOD to introduce the Crazy Camping Pack, consisting of seafood udon and a Takenoko burner. The Takenoko burner is a steady seller from DOD, designed to resemble the Takenoko tent, and is a butane gas burner highly useful at campsites, with adjustable leg lengths according to table height. The seafood udon comes in a four-serving size in a direct-fire container, allowing it to be cooked immediately at the campsite. This product will be sold in limited quantities through pre-orders on the Uri Dongnae GS app starting November 4th, priced at 59,900 KRW.


Choi Seunghoon, Marketing Team Manager at GS Retail, said, "We pursued collaboration with well-known outdoor brands Helinox and DOD to create synergy between brands in line with the camping trend expanding from solo campers to family activities. Going forward, GS25 will become a camping culture platform that provides new fun and experiences to customers through various products and events for the growing number of campers."


Meanwhile, GS25 is also planning a large-scale event in November. Various camping items such as tents, chairs, tables, and keyrings from Helinox and DOD will be offered as prizes, presenting useful products to campers and Helinox fans.
