Nakdonggang FESTA, Culminating with the 'Yangsan Chrysanthemum Festival' Finale

SNS Photo Verification Event Linked to the Ten Million Chrysanthemum Festival

The Nakdonggang FESTA, which began in late August, will culminate with the 2024 Yangsan Chrysanthemum Festival held from October 25 to November 10 at the Central Square of Hwangsan Park in Yangsan.

This Nakdonggang FESTA is a large-scale autumn festival linkage project launched for the first time this year, connecting autumn festivals held by six local governments belonging to the Nakdonggang Council in their respective regions.

The Nakdonggang FESTA has already included ▲Myeongji Market Jeoneo Festival (Gangseo-gu, Busan, August) ▲Gimhae Flower Festival (Gimhae-si, Gyeongnam, October) ▲Nakdonggang Gupo Ferry Festival (Buk-gu, Busan, October) ▲Sasang Riverside Festival (Sasang-gu, Busan, October) ▲Dadaepo Sunset Film Festival (Saha-gu, Busan, October), and the Yangsan Chrysanthemum Festival will serve as the grand finale.

At the Yangsan Chrysanthemum Festival, 10 million chrysanthemum flowers will be displayed in about 60,000 works, offering visitors a beautiful autumn landscape. Along with this, various side events such as the ‘Walking Contest Along the Nakdonggang Waves,’ ‘Farmers’ Unity Festival,’ and ‘Pet Culture Festival’ will be held, providing a rich array of attractions.

Also, as part of Nakdonggang FESTA, the ‘Together Nakdonggang FESTA SNS Certification Photo Event’ offers participants a chance to receive gifticons by uploading certification photos taken at each festival site on SNS. Those who participate in two or more of the six events will have opportunities to win various prizes such as smartwatches and AirPods.
