'Chrysanthemum Scent Autumn Walk' Held at Namdaecheon, Yangyang on 26-27
Chrysanthemum Tea Tasting Available... Spectacular Chrysanthemum Field Under Night Lighting
The "Yangyang Chrysanthemum Scent Autumn Walk" event, hosted by Yangyang-gun, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Kim Jin-ha), will be held on the 26th and 27th at the Yangyang Namdaecheon Chrysanthemum Garden.
The Chrysanthemum Garden where the Chrysanthemum Festival will be held on October 26 and 27 at Namdaecheon, Yangyang, Gangwon Province. The Yangyang Chrysanthemum Scent Autumn Walk is organized by Yangyang-gun and the Yangyang Cultural Foundation to widely promote the newly established chrysanthemum garden along Namdaecheon in Yangyang and to provide visitors with various sights and enjoyable activities.
Along with the 1st Yangyang Chrysanthemum Festival held in front of the Yangyang Agricultural Technology Center, a variety of attractions will be offered.
Visitors are expected to spend healing moments encountering chrysanthemums filled with the scent of autumn throughout the event venue, set against the backdrop of the Namdaecheon cherry blossom path dyed with autumn leaves and the beautiful Namdaecheon River.
During the event, four busking performances will be held daily, delighting the eyes and ears with music. Additionally, the Yangyang Market featuring flea market vendors, food trucks, and a chrysanthemum tea tasting booth will be available.
Furthermore, a "Slow Mailbox" service will operate for 200 people per day to send postcards, and a photo printer service will be provided to print mobile phone photos taken against the chrysanthemum garden background, offering visitors special memories. In particular, lighting will be installed in some sections of the chrysanthemum garden, expected to showcase another charm of the garden at night.
Yangyang-gun and the Yangyang Cultural Foundation plan to prepare a rich autumn event that will satisfy visitors to the Namdaecheon Chrysanthemum Garden.
