The Bareuge Salgi Movement Changwon City Council Holds Unity and One-Heart Resolution Rally for Members

Reaffirming the Commitment to Practicing the Fundamental Ideals of the Bareuge Salgi Movement

The Barugesalgi Movement Changwon City Council held the ‘2024 Barugesalgi Movement Changwon City Council Unity Pledge Event’ on the 24th at the auxiliary stadium of Changwon Sports Park, attended by over 900 Barugesalgi members along with distinguished guests including Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, and Son Taehwa, Chairman of Changwon City Council.

During the first part of the event, there was an opening ceremony and awards were presented to meritorious members. The second part, themed as a harmony festival, featured sports competitions, talent shows, and prize drawings, which were met with great applause and cheers.

Chairman Yoon Yeobeom stated, “I hope this pledge event serves as an opportunity for Barugesalgi Movement members to practice the three core ideals of truth, order, and harmony in their daily lives.”

In his congratulatory speech, Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, said, “I am always grateful to the Barugesalgi members who are a great driving force for community integration and the establishment of basic order. Moving forward, I will strive to create a warm community where we live together with Barugesalgi members and a Changwon City without blind spots.”

Meanwhile, the Barugesalgi Movement Changwon City Council plays a role in fostering public awareness and contributing to the establishment of basic order in the local community through campaigns for proper living, volunteer sharing for neighbors, and carbon neutrality practice movements.
