Conditional Approval of Local Finance Central Investment Review
The city of Guri, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun) announced that following the conditional approval of the local finance central investment review on the 18th, the 'Galmae-dong Complex Community Center Construction Project,' a major priority project of the city and a long-cherished wish of Galmae-dong residents, has entered its main phase.
According to Guri City on the 24th, the 'Galmae-dong Complex Community Center Construction Project' is a project located at 582 Galmae-dong, with a total budget of 48.6 billion KRW to be invested by 2027. The project aims to provide various public services needed by local residents, including childcare, welfare, culture, and sports, all in one place. The center will have 2 basement floors and 5 above-ground floors, with a total floor area of 11,351 square meters. It will house a daycare center and comprehensive childcare support center, a community care center, a children's experience center, a senior welfare center, the Guri Cultural Center social welfare center, a job center, and a multipurpose indoor gymnasium.
The construction project will be promoted through a entrusted development method using public property, with the Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO), selected as the entrusted institution, carrying out the construction.
Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun of Guri stated, “The Galmae-dong Complex Community Center Construction Project is a facility designed to allow the use of various contents in one place, and it will provide customized administrative services reflecting residents' needs in the future. We will make every effort to ensure early completion by promoting the construction swiftly and flawlessly through the financial procurement capabilities and professional personnel of the Korea Asset Management Corporation, the entrusted institution for the project.”
Guri City plans to thoroughly comply with various administrative procedures until completion by supplementing the conditions of the conditional approval from the central investment review to ensure the smooth progress of the 'Galmae-dong Complex Community Center Construction Project.'
