First Couple Born at Banpo One Bailey
Matchmaking Meeting Created Exclusively for Residents to Arrange Marriages
"Hope for 2nd and 3rd Couples to Follow"
Recently, at the Banpo apartment complex 'Raemian One Bailey,' where prices exceed 100 million KRW per pyeong, a matchmaking group exclusively for residents has attracted attention, and news has emerged that the group's 'first couple' has been formed.
Residents of 'Raemian One Bailey' in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, formed a small group called 'One Bailey Marriage Information Association (One Gyeolhoe)' last April to arrange marriages for their unmarried children. Only residents themselves or their family members, such as children, are allowed to participate in this group.
This formation of the small group drew significant attention as a 'world of their own.' The exclusive 84㎡ units on the 32nd floor of 'Raemian One Bailey' are famous as ultra-high-priced apartments, having been traded for 4.25 billion KRW in April. The exclusive 59㎡ units changed hands for 2.98 billion KRW in February. It has risen to become the most expensive apartment, surpassing 'Acro River Park,' which was previously considered the top property in the Gangnam area.
Recently, a post was uploaded on the Naver One Gyeolhoe cafe announcing the birth of the 'first couple' from One Gyeolhoe. The author began by saying, "The first couple of One Gyeolhoe has finally officially announced their marriage." He explained, "With the permission of both sets of parents, two handsome and beautiful members of the One Gyeolhoe group have had a good relationship so far, and it has been confirmed that they have set a wedding date and started preparations."
He continued, "The marriage of these two members is a joy for both families and a great celebration for our One Gyeolhoe. We congratulate the couple on their wedding." He concluded the post by saying, "We hope that the second and third couples will be born soon. Once again, all One Gyeolhoe members sincerely congratulate both families on the marriage."
One Gyeolhoe provides opportunities for unmarried children of residents to meet potential partners. Attendees enjoy a dinner consisting of a top-tier course meal, followed by one-minute speeches and other activities to find matches. The matching methods are known to include ▲ mutual meetings and information exchange among members ▲ the group leader arranging matches based on profiles submitted in membership applications ▲ organizing meetings for marriageable children and applicants to allow direct interaction and matching through dating.
