Up to 100,000 Won Reward for Visiting Major Tourist Spots with Pets in November and December

Taean County in Chungnam, which has been continuously launching pet-friendly tourism products and receiving great response, is introducing special tourism content for visitors.
The county announced on the 24th that it will run the "Petness (Pet+Wellness) Taean Mission Tour" in November and December, supporting part of the expenses for about 100 teams of travelers visiting Taean with their pets when they visit major tourist attractions.
The main feature of this program is that travelers who visit Taean with their dogs and visit pet-friendly tourist attractions, accommodations, and cafes, and then provide proof, can receive a refund of up to 100,000 KRW per team (based on a 2-day, 1-night stay).
This program is available to travelers from other regions who visit Taean for at least 2 days and 1 night and apply in advance. Participants must complete three missions: △Visit at least one pet-friendly tourist attraction △Visit at least two pet-friendly accommodations, cafes, or experience spaces △Share proof photos and a review on SNS.
After completing the trip, participants must upload their posts to SNS within 7 days and submit supporting documents for expense reimbursement (ID, bank account copy, receipts, and SNS address) to receive the mission fee. The SNS post must include at least two photos featuring all team members and their pets together.
Pet owners who wish to apply can check the details and apply on the Petness Taean website from the 28th until December 13th (the travel period is from November 1st to December 15th). After confirming the application and selection, individual contact will be made, and the expenses will be paid within 10 days from the application date.
The county plans to make various efforts to boost the popularity of the program, including awarding special promotional gifts to the five teams that spend the most expenses after the mission tour ends.
A county official said, "We decided to run this mission tour program to attract new and returning travelers with pets as the year-end cold sets in," and added, "We hope you make happy memories with your pets in Taean, which is beautiful in all four seasons."
