BNK Financial Group Opens Applications for 2nd Batch of Fintech Lab 'Storage B' Participants

Selection of 18 Startups and Fintech Companies Followed by New Recruitment This Year

Applications Accepted via ‘Storage B’ Website Until November 4

BNK Financial Group (Chairman Bin Dae-in) is recruiting participating companies for the 2nd batch of its fintech lab ‘StorageB’ until the 4th of next month to support startups with excellent technological capabilities and growth potential.

‘Storage B’ was established last year to expand the group’s business areas and discover new digital financial services through collaboration with companies possessing creative and innovative technologies. Currently, 18 startups and fintech companies are participating as members.


The recruitment targets are companies with innovative technologies in the fields of payment, data, and artificial intelligence, or those possessing technological capabilities that can improve financial operations to provide new customer experiences. Applications can be submitted through the ‘Storage B’ website. Selected companies will be given priority for joint projects and partnerships with BNK Financial Group subsidiaries, as well as support for investment attraction and promotional activities (IR).


A BNK Financial Group official stated, “Collaboration with startups possessing innovative technologies is essential in the rapidly evolving digital environment,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen support for mutual growth.”


Last year, BNK Financial Group Holdings completed the application for designation as an innovative financial service in September together with the startup LucasMeta (LUCASMETA), which specializes in generative AI technology-based image production. BNK Venture Investment supported investments in two companies.


These are Mapsea, which possesses technology for developing ship navigation based on maritime data, and LiveX, a beauty tech startup. Additionally, BNK Investment & Securities is promoting the advancement of its MTS service through collaboration with MoneyStation, a financial deep-tech startup.
