HD Hyundai Site Solutions Unveils New Products at Korea's Largest Construction Equipment Exhibition

Exhibition of Safety, Productivity, and Sustainability TE Products

At the Korea International Construction Machinery Exhibition held for the first time in three years, South Korea's leading construction machinery companies unveiled their latest products, smart technologies, and solutions.

HD Hyundai Site Solutions announced its participation in the 12th Korea International Construction Machinery Exhibition, held over four days from the 24th at KINTEX in Ilsan. The exhibition theme is 'Safety, Productivity, Sustainability,' three key words to realize the vision of land innovation 'Site Transformation' announced earlier this year at CES 2024.

Under the productivity theme, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment introduced smart solutions such as the '2D Machine Guidance Plus,' which sends warnings when the work area is exceeded, and the ‘Hyundai Connect’ app that allows equipment malfunction diagnosis and A/S requests via smartphone. HD Hyundai Infracore showcased safety technologies including the 'Transparent Bucket,' which captures blind spots in front of wheel loaders and displays them to the operator, and the 'Smart Around View Monitoring (SAVM),' which uses artificial intelligence (AI) to detect hazards around equipment and alert the operator.

In the productivity theme, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment exhibited the latest equipment specialized for domestic industrial sites, including mini excavators with excellent mobility in urban areas, 6-ton class small wheel excavators, and ultra-large wheel loaders. HD Hyundai Infracore presented a full lineup of mini excavators, including a new 1-ton mini excavator in high demand by farms, and 6.5-ton class excavators. They also unveiled solutions to enhance field productivity, such as the ICT-based new quarry management service 'QuarryX' and the surveying and excavation work assistance system '3D Machine Guidance' using proprietary software.

Under the sustainability theme, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment unveiled its first electric excavator model. This model can operate for up to 9 hours and can be rapidly charged up to 80% in just 2 hours. HD Hyundai Infracore exhibited eco-friendly powertrain products, including high-density battery packs developed with in-house technology and expertise, electric excavators, and hydrogen combustion engines that use hydrogen as fuel to produce zero carbon emissions.

A representative from HD Hyundai Site Solutions said, "This exhibition was organized to easily find the connection between our lives and the construction machinery industry from the public’s perspective," adding, "Construction machinery will go beyond simple industrial equipment to become the answer to opening a sustainable life for humanity."
