KB Securities announced on the 24th that it will hold the '2024 Prime Club Investment Festival' at the main auditorium of Ewha Womans University in Seoul on the 26th.
KB Securities planned this concert to provide differentiated investment information services for the Prime Club and to strengthen ties with customers, preparing a large-scale offline event with 2,000 attendees targeted at KB Securities customers.
The investment concert recruited attendees through pre-registration and main registration. In the pre-registration, which offered seat assignments and Starbucks gift card benefits, about 1,000 people wished to attend the concert, and 200 were selected, resulting in a high competition rate of 5 to 1. For the main registration, 1,800 people were finally selected out of about 4,000 applicants.
The Prime Club Investment Festival will be held on the 26th from 3 PM to 6 PM, divided into two parts, lasting a total of 180 minutes, during which various investment-related lectures will be conducted.
Kim Dong-won, Head of Research at KB Securities, will open the first part with a lecture titled 'Again BUY KOREA,' introducing undervalued leading domestic companies suitable for investment from a mid- to long-term perspective. Next, Kim Shin, Executive Director in charge of global sales at KB Securities and a global investment strategist, will deeply cover the Korean market from a foreigner's perspective and major trends in the global market. The last session of the first part will feature Senior Researchers Kim Il-hyuk and Ha In-hwan presenting investment strategies to respond to market volatility in preparation for the U.S. presidential election in early November.
The second part of the concert will begin with a lecture by author Song Gil-young, a big data expert famous for Mind Miner, followed by Jeong Hee-seok, Director of Barbarian Research, introducing promising U.S. stocks for 2025, emphasizing the structural growth of the U.S. stock market. The final session will conclude with Min Jae-gi, Deputy Head of the KB Securities Prime Club Squad, introducing promising domestic stock sectors and stocks for 2025.
Outside the main auditorium of Ewha Womans University, where the concert will be held, photo zones and event zones will be set up for attendees to enjoy various events. The auditorium is equipped with more than 2,000 seats and will showcase a richer stage with the latest LED and sound equipment. Additionally, all attendees will receive a booklet (Basics of Industry Analysis and Value Chain) and a reusable bag, along with various entertainment options and giveaways.
