"Breaking Language Barriers"... Samsung Expands Galaxy AI Support to 20 Languages

Samsung Electronics announced on the 24th that it will expand the supported languages of 'Galaxy Artificial Intelligence (AI)' to 20. Four new languages?Dutch, Romanian, Swedish, and Turkish?have been added to the existing 16, bringing the total number of supported languages to 20.

Users of Galaxy AI-supported products such as the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Fold6 will be able to download and use the newly supported languages from the Settings application starting at the end of this month.

Galaxy AI supports free communication and creative activities beyond language barriers through its innovative functionality that speaks 20 languages.

The language features provided by Galaxy AI include: ▲'Real-time Interpretation,' which interprets voice during calls in real time ▲'Interpretation,' which instantly translates face-to-face conversations and displays the text on split or dual screens ▲'Chat Assist,' which helps facilitate efficient chatting ▲'Note Assist,' which supports translation and organization of note contents ▲'Text Conversion Assist,' which converts voice to text and immediately translates it ▲and 'Browsing Assist,' which translates web pages.

The Galaxy AI language model is released after undergoing quantitative evaluations of language characteristics and grammar, as well as qualitative assessments verifying knowledge and understanding of culture.

Samsung Electronics stated, "For an advanced Galaxy AI that understands culture beyond language and possesses related knowledge, our global research and development (R&D) centers are dedicated to researching and developing language models."
