Dobong-gu to Host 'Autumn Beer Festival' at Dobongsan Old Road Shopping Street on 26th... Customer Participation Events Including Beer Drinking Contest and Street Karaoke... Full of Attractions from Local Artists' Performances to Famous Singers' Celebration Shows
Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) will hold an autumn beer festival at the Dobongsan Old Road Shopping District from 5 PM on October 26.
This festival, held to celebrate the autumn foliage season of Dobongsan, was organized to revitalize the commercial area of the Dobongsan Old Road Shopping District and to provide enjoyment to visitors and local residents who come to Dobongsan.
The festival features a variety of events, from customer participation activities to congratulatory performances by famous singers and prize raffles.
First, at 5:10 PM, a beer drinking contest will take place. The person who drinks the beer the fastest will receive a chicken gift certificate. The second-place winner will be awarded a 10,000 KRW Onnuri gift certificate. All participants will receive a coupon for 500ml of beer.
From 6:50 PM, there will be a beer keg holding contest and another beer drinking contest. The prizes for both contests are the same as those for the beer drinking contest.
Starting at 7:20 PM, the street karaoke contest, which offers the greatest rewards, will begin. It will be held with on-site participation, and the grand prize winner will receive 300,000 KRW, while the runner-up will receive 200,000 KRW.
Various performances to enhance the festival's excitement are also prepared. From 6:20 PM, a percussion performance by local cultural artist ‘Gogojang Gudain’ will begin. From 8 PM, invited singer Park Sang-min will perform.
Additionally, there will be a prize raffle event and an event where customers who purchase more than 10,000 KRW at the shopping district will receive one free 500ml beer.

We will continue to cooperate with the shopping district merchants' association to organize various events and activities to widely promote the charm of the Dobongsan Old Road Shopping District.”
The Dobongsan Old Road Shopping District, which was certified as an alley shopping district last year, has been actively working on revitalizing the commercial area since this year. In cooperation with the district office, they are expanding Onnuri gift certificate and Seoul Pay affiliated stores, and this year, they are hosting the autumn beer festival organized by the shopping district for the first time.
