Jeonui Gyohyeop held an emergency general meeting on the 23rd to discuss whether to participate in the consultation body but was unable to reach a conclusion and decided to delay the participation decision.

In a statement released that day, Jeonui Gyohyeop said, "We agree with and view positively the necessity of the ruling and opposition parties' medical policy consultation body to resolve the current medical crisis," but added, "We will withhold our decision on participation under the current circumstances where the composition and operation of the consultation body have not been decided."

Regarding the composition of the consultation body, Jeonui Gyohyeop stated, "It should be composed of medical organizations that can reflect the opinions of residents and students," and "The government should participate with personnel suitable for solving the problem, not those responsible for triggering the medical crisis."

Earlier, on the 22nd, the Korean Academy of Medical Sciences and the Korean Association of Medical Colleges and Medical Schools (KAMC·UAMS), academic organizations in the medical field, decided to participate in the ruling and opposition parties' medical policy consultation body.
