Preventing Ineffective Agreements... Partial Revision for Efficient Management of Existing Agreements
The Guri City Council in Gyeonggi Province (Chairman Shin Dong-hwa) approved the "Partial Amendment to the Ordinance on Guri City's Business Partnerships and Agreements," proposed by Councilor Kwon Bong-su at the 2nd plenary session of the 341st extraordinary meeting on the 23rd, as originally drafted.
This ordinance was established to stipulate necessary matters for Guri City to enter into and promote business partnerships or agreements with domestic and international public institutions, companies, educational and research institutions, and various organizations and associations, thereby enhancing administrative accountability and effectiveness.
This partial amendment was prepared to improve and organize the necessary matters for Guri City to conclude business partnerships or agreements, prevent ineffective agreements, and efficiently manage already concluded agreements.
Councilor Kwon Bong-su stated, "Proper management of business partnerships and agreements can greatly benefit our city, but in reality, many ineffective promotional agreements are being issued indiscriminately. Through this ordinance amendment, it will be an opportunity to distinguish the valuable agreements our city has made, and in the future, business partnerships and agreements that truly benefit our city will be established."
