On the 23rd, SK Hynix announced that it signed a "Memorandum of Understanding for Public-Private Cooperation in the Field of Disaster Relief" with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the Disaster Relief Association at the Government Seoul Office in Jongno-gu, Seoul.

Since 2015, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety has been signing agreements with private companies for disaster relief, including support for goods and funds and policy promotion.

Through this agreement, the three organizations will establish a cooperative system to help disaster victims quickly stabilize their lives in the event of a disaster.

Since 2022, SK Hynix has been running the "Hi-Safety" project to minimize domestic disaster damage caused by abnormal climate and to support disaster victims, donating 1.1 billion KRW.

An SK Hynix official said, "We will continue to support the production and distribution of emergency relief supplies such as toothbrushes, towels, raincoats, and masks needed for on-site relief activities through donations."

Lee Sang-min, Minister of the Interior and Safety, said, "Through this agreement, relief supplies will be delivered quickly and systematically, which is expected to help stabilize the lives of disaster victims. The government will continue to expand public-private cooperation infrastructure to strengthen disaster relief capabilities."
