Andersson Bell Successfully Concludes Shanghai Fashion Week Runway Show

Andersson Bell has secured a solid fan base by generating a strong response not only domestically but also overseas. Following two runway shows held in Milan last year, the brand made its debut at Shanghai Fashion Week, solidifying its position in the global market.


At Shanghai Fashion Week, Andersson Bell showcased outfits reminiscent of the American West, including fringe, suede, rancher shirts, and cowboy prints. The brand also left a strong impression on the Chinese market by presenting destroyed fabrics, patchwork denim, oversized knits, lace, and layered looks that evoke muses with a cozy yet distinctive mood, such as Kurt Cobain and Chlo? After successfully completing the runway show attended by prominent local KOLs, famous Korean celebrities, and influencers, Director Kim Do-hoon explained the reason for holding the runway in Shanghai: "We decided to hold the runway here in Shanghai to meet buyers, press, media, and fans all in one place. China is a market with great potential, and the brand sales score in the Chinese market is continuously growing."


Lucrezia Su, founder of Plush.Consulting, a marketing agency based in Shanghai, said in an interview following the runway show, "Andersson Bell is a brand that is consistently mentioned on social media within China," adding, "Holding a solo runway show during Shanghai Fashion Week at a time when the brand is receiving positive feedback from consumers was a very rational and wise choice."


In an interview with Vogue Business, Director Kim Do-hoon revealed active market entry plans, stating, "There was significant growth in the Chinese market in 2022. We are also positively considering opening the first offline store in the Chinese market by 2025."
