104 Standard Vehicle Spaces, 19 Dedicated Campervan Spaces

On the 22nd, Dangjin City in Chungnam announced that it has created a free temporary parking lot on a vacant lot at 355-13 Chaewon-dong (6,032 square meters), investing 980 million KRW.
The site where the parking lot was established had been left with construction suspended for about 20 years, damaging the cityscape and raising concerns among citizens as a harmful environment for youth.
The newly established free temporary public parking lot offers a total of 123 spaces, including 104 for general vehicles and 19 exclusively for camping cars.
The city expects that this will significantly alleviate the shortage of parking spaces at nearby Dangjin High School and apartment complexes.
The city actively consulted with the landowner to obtain consent and created the free temporary parking lot.
A city official said, "With the creation of the Chaewon 9-tong free temporary parking lot, we expect to ease parking difficulties in the surrounding area and provide dedicated spaces for camping cars, improving convenience for citizens."
