Notice for a Special Lecture on "Employment and Career Transition for Middle-aged and Older Adults." Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 23rd that it will hold a special lecture titled "Employment and Career Transition for Middle-aged and Older Adults" at the Job Center on November 8th for middle-aged and older residents living in the area.
This free education program aims to help participants view career and employment during middle age from a positive perspective through the concepts of well-dying and a growth mindset. It is designed to enhance job-seeking confidence and prepare for the future to lead a healthy life.
The Uijeongbu Job Center will continuously provide job placement and related information to those who complete the training. Additionally, unemployed benefit recipients can have their participation in the education recognized as job-seeking activity.
Kang Sung-soo, Director of the Job Policy Division, stated, "We will actively support all job seekers participating in the special lecture to assess their current position and strengthen their job-seeking capabilities for employment."
The program targets 20 middle-aged and older adults residing in Uijeongbu City. Those interested in participating can apply by visiting the Uijeongbu Job Center in person from the 23rd until November 4th.
