Mobidays is on the rise. As the duet song "Apartment" (APT.) by BLACKPINK's Ros? and Bruno Mars sparks a global sensation, the corporate value of Cocodive, a K-POP comprehensive content platform operator acquired by Mobidays last year, is also soaring.
At 11:05 AM on the 23rd, Mobidays is trading at 2,920 KRW, up 24.26% from the previous day.
Ros?'s new single "Apartment," released on the 18th, is hitting the global music market immediately upon release. "Apartment" is a pre-release single ahead of Ros?'s official comeback on December 6 and will also be included in her first full-length album "rosie."
Right after its release, "Apartment" achieved a "PAK" (Perfect All Kill) by topping the real-time charts, daily charts, and Top 100 on domestic music sites Melon, Genie, Bugs, and Vibe. Moreover, it surpassed Bruno Mars's collaboration with Lady Gaga, "Die With a Smile," to claim the number one spot on Spotify. Ranking first on the US Spotify chart is a first for a Korean female solo artist, and Ros? has set another career high with this single "Apartment."
Mobidays established Mobicontentstech as a subsidiary in June last year. Subsequently, it acquired Cocodive, which operates K-POP content-related businesses. Cocodive is a proprietary platform that plans, distributes, and sells products sought by overseas fans, such as K-POP albums and merchandise (MD). It is expected that new related businesses through Mobicontentstech will create synergy effects with the global digital marketing capabilities of the parent company Mobidays. It is known to be responsible for the global distribution of Ros?'s albums and merchandise.
Since its establishment in 2018, Cocodive has operated a proprietary platform that plans, distributes, and sells products sought by overseas fans, including K-POP albums and merchandise. It currently has a fandom of over 1.8 million across 204 countries.
Meanwhile, when Psy's "Gangnam Style" gained worldwide popularity in 2012, some stocks grouped as related shares surged nearly tenfold.
