Hancom Makes Full-Scale Entry into Japanese Market... Unveils AI Services at Largest IT Exhibition

Hancom is participating in Japan's largest IT exhibition, the '2024 Japan IT Week Autumn,' and is making a full-scale entry into the Japanese market.


According to industry sources on the 23rd, the exhibition will feature around 660 companies and 40,000 customers. It will be held in Tokyo for three days starting today.


At this event, Hancom will showcase services such as the AI-based automatic document creation tool 'Hancom Assistant,' the AI training data extraction SDK 'Hancom Data Loader,' and the AI search and Q&A solution 'Thinkfree Refiner.' Additionally, it will introduce the AI biometric recognition solution from the Spanish company FacePhi, in which it recently invested.


Furthermore, Hancom plans to strengthen its cooperation network with local partners through its recently established Japanese subsidiary and actively participate in the Japanese IT business ecosystem through technology and marketing collaboration. The company aims to explore new business opportunities based on technologies such as AI, biometrics, and office solutions.


Kim Yeon-su, CEO of Hancom, stated, "Japan has a solid domestic market and a well-developed software industry. By utilizing the Japanese subsidiary, we will provide Hancom's AI technologies more reliably to the Japanese market and expand exports."
