Gyeonggi Paju City announced on the 23rd that it will hold the '2024 Youth Culture Street Festival' on the 26th at Geumnung Station Central Plaza and Geumbit-ro Youth Culture Street (in front of Hugok Children's Park).
Hosted by Paju City and organized by the Paju City Youth Foundation, the Youth Culture Street Festival is a representative youth festival of Paju City, held as a campaign pledge of the 8th local government administration. It aims to provide opportunities for youth to express their cultural sensibility and artistic talents by operating various cultural and artistic experience spaces within the Youth Culture Street section.
This year, under the theme 'Fall into Youth Culture,' four experiential areas titled 'Let's Play with the Future, Brain, Mind, and Hands' will be operated.
△ 'Let's Play with the Mind' offers programs for youth psychology and mental stability, △ 'Let's Play with the Future' includes virtual world experiences (Metaverse experience), virtual reality experiences (VR experience), and career exploration, △ 'Let's Play with the Brain' features problem-solving type experiences and traditional games, and △ 'Let's Play with the Hands' provides experiences such as making natural perfumes and keychains.
In addition to the experiential spaces in each area, various performances including congratulatory performances by the grand prize-winning team of the Gyeonggi-do Youth Comprehensive Arts Festival, balloon performances, and magic shows are prepared so that people of all ages can enjoy 'Youth Culture.'
The festival will be held from 2 PM to 5 PM, and any youth and citizens using the culture street can participate.
