Yangju City performed the atopic dermatitis prevention musical puppet show "Don't Worry! Ato is Coming!" on the 18th at the Gyeonggi Textile Support Center. Gyeonggi Yangju City (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) has taken the initiative to help children easily understand atopy prevention methods through a puppet show.
According to the city on the 22nd, on the 18th, a musical puppet show for atopic dermatitis prevention titled "Don't Worry! Ato is Coming!" was performed at the Gyeonggi Textile Support Center.
This performance was conducted for 360 children from seven daycare centers and one kindergarten, all of which applied from local atopy and asthma safe schools for preschoolers, to instill correct health knowledge about atopic dermatitis prevention and management.
The city presented the musical puppet show using songs, rhythmic movements, and a laser show tailored to the children's level, delivering information on managing and preventing atopic dermatitis.
The children who watched the performance learned how to manage and prevent atopic dermatitis in a joyful atmosphere by following the songs and dances.
Yoon Soon-duk, Director of Health Promotion, stated, "With the increasing prevalence of atopic dermatitis due to changes in westernized living environments, the importance of managing and preventing atopic dermatitis is growing. We hope that through this performance, children will develop proper lifestyle habits regarding atopy. The city will continue to plan various programs that children can easily understand and enjoy to effectively convey information about atopic dermatitis."
