Pocheon Urban Corporation, Yeongjung-myeon Neighborly Love Briquette Sharing Volunteer Activity

Pocheon Urban Corporation carried out a 'Love Briquette Sharing Volunteer Activity' for neighbors in vulnerable groups on the 21st.

On the 22nd, the Yeongjung-myeon Administrative Welfare Center in Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi Province, announced that Pocheon Urban Corporation (President Lee Sang-rok) carried out a ‘Love Briquette Sharing Volunteer Activity’ for underprivileged neighbors on the 21st.

This volunteer activity was prepared with the united will of the Urban Corporation employees to provide some help to neighbors struggling with the cold weather. The employees carefully delivered 1,000 briquettes to two low-income elderly single-person households in Yeongjung-myeon.

President Lee Sang-rok said, “It is very meaningful to share warmth with the employees in one heart and one mind. We will continue to be Pocheon Urban Corporation that shares and walks together with underprivileged neighbors in the local community.”

The Yeongjung-myeon Administrative Welfare Center will also do its best to ensure that the warm hearts of the volunteers are delivered throughout the local community.”

Meanwhile, Pocheon Urban Corporation has formed the ‘Pocheon Love Volunteer Group’ to engage in systematic volunteer work and continues its ongoing community contribution activities.
