LG CNS Launches Customer Data Platform... Equipped with Features for Customer Data Collection, Integration, and Analysis

LG CNS announced on the 22nd that it has officially launched its Customer Data Platform (CDP) and is stepping up efforts to enhance data-driven Customer Experience (CX).


The CDP is a platform that collects, integrates, and analyzes customer data generated during the use of products and services in one place. Companies can utilize data-driven customer experience journeys, contextual understanding, and precise targeting for personalized marketing.


Additionally, the CDP serves as a core infrastructure that helps analyze and understand everything from initial awareness to purchase, usage, and after-sales management. It offers a total of 10 functions, including ▲Customer Information Integration (ID Resolution) ▲Customer Segmentation ▲Customer Attribute Creation ▲Customer Journey Design and Management.


In particular, the Customer Information Integration function collects scattered online and offline customer information such as transaction data and behavioral data in real-time and integrates it into one. Through the unified individual customer profiles called 'Single Customer View (SCV),' it is possible to understand the journey, enabling more personalized message delivery.


Customer Segmentation is a function that divides potential customers into small groups to set target customer segments. When CDP users set criteria, segmented target groups are automatically generated in real-time and can be utilized for marketing.


Furthermore, before segmenting target customer groups, the platform provides Customer Attribute Creation to generate necessary customer attributes, and Customer Journey Design and Management to understand the customer's situation, design customized journeys, and conduct hyper-personalized marketing.


Earlier in July, the CDP received the official 'RealCDP' certification from the 'CDP Institute,' the first in Korea. The CDP Institute in the U.S. is the most authoritative research institute in the CDP industry. Global CDP companies such as Salesforce and Adobe have also received certification from this institute.


As of last year, LG CNS held the number one position in the domestic customer data business market with about 18% market share. The domestic customer data business market size is expected to exceed approximately 460 billion KRW by 2028.


Shim Jeong-ae, Head of CX Data Business at LG CNS, said, "We will further advance with the latest technologies such as generative artificial intelligence (AI) to support more corporate customers in understanding their customers through data and conducting effective marketing activities."
