Yeoju City held the second event of the Yeoju Youth Harmony Square, "Youth Happiness Playground," at the Yeoju Youth Culture House on the 19th. Yeoju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Chung-woo) announced on the 21st that the second event of the Yeoju Youth Harmony Square, "Youth Happiness Playground," was successfully concluded on the 19th at the Yeoju Youth Culture House (Director Im Song-sik).
At the event, a total of 12 experience booths were operated at the Yeoju Youth Culture House, with over 700 youths and Yeoju citizens participating. In particular, the Gyeonggi-do Childcare Yeoju Center, Yeoju Family Center, Yeoju Museum, and Yeoju Youth Harmful Environment Monitoring Group joined together to make the event even more vibrant.
One participant said, "It was meaningful to enjoy various experience booths directly planned by youths. All the youths running the booths responded kindly, so I was able to participate pleasantly," adding, "I want to express my appreciation to the youths operating the booths and the staff for their hard work."
The Yeoju Youth Harmony Square is an event held three times a year where youths can showcase their talents and experience a healthy play culture. So far, two events have been held, and the final event will conclude with the "Youth Band Festival" on November 23.
