The Seosan City Workplace Sports Team from Chungnam delivered an outstanding performance as representatives of Chungcheongnam-do at the 105th National Sports Festival, held throughout Gyeongsangnam-do from the 11th to the 17th.
According to the city on the 21st, the Seosan City Workplace Sports Team participated with the Seosan City Hall Shooting Team and Canoe Team. The Shooting Team won a total of six medals, and the Canoe Team secured two medals, contributing to Chungcheongnam-do's achievement of overall 5th place for the third consecutive year.
In particular, the City Hall Shooting Team earned two gold and four silver medals at the competition held at the Changwon International Shooting Range from the 12th to the 14th, helping Chungcheongnam-do secure first place overall in the shooting category.
On the 12th, in the 10m air rifle team event, Park Sunghyun and Kang Joonki teamed up with Lee Junho and Gong Seongbin from the Armed Forces Athletic Corps to win the gold medal, while Kang Joonki added a silver medal in the 10m air rifle individual event.
Additionally, on the same day, So Seungseop won the gold medal in the 10m air pistol individual event, and So Seungseop, Choi Boram, and Bang Jaehyun earned a silver medal in the team event of the same discipline.
On the 13th, Yu Hyunyoung, Oh Jungeun, Kim Yesul, and Kim Heeseon secured a silver medal in the 10m air pistol team event, continuing the medal streak, while Lee Eunseo claimed a silver medal in the 50m rifle prone individual event.

The City Hall Canoe Team won one gold and one bronze medal at the Gyeongsangnam-do Seonakdong River Rowing and Canoe Stadium from the 12th to the 15th.
On the 12th, Choi Jiseong finished third in the C-1 1,000m event, earning the bronze medal, while on the 14th, Kang Sinhong took gold in the C-1 200m event.
Notably, Kang Sinhong's gold medal in this event marks his third at the National Sports Festival, firmly establishing his status as the nation's strongest competitor.
