Jung-gu District Office in Seoul (Mayor Kim Gil-seong) will hold a 'High School Admission Information Session' for middle school students and their parents on the 24th and 25th. The event will take place at the Jung-gu Education Support Center and will be open from 5 PM to 8 PM to accommodate working parents.
A current middle school teacher will give a special lecture on how to apply to high schools, followed by detailed presentations from admission and promotion officers of each school about admission guidelines, application methods, and specialized educational programs. Parents and students will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers on-site.
The information session will feature eight representative high schools within Jung-gu and three nearby high schools that have historically had a high admission rate of Jung-gu middle school students. On the 24th, the following schools will hold admission briefings: ▲Jangchung High School ▲Seongdong Global High School ▲Daegyeong Life High School ▲Deoksung Girls' High School ▲Hanyang Technical High School ▲Seongdong High School. On the 25th, the following schools will participate: ▲Hwanil High School ▲Seongdong Technical High School ▲Muhak Girls' High School ▲Boseong Girls' High School ▲Seoul Medical Health High School.
Additionally, during the information session, individual school counseling booths will be set up to provide students with detailed information about schools that match their aptitudes and career paths. A 'Learning Style Type Test' will also be available for students attending the session.
Mayor Kim Gil-seong stated, “The High School Admission Information Session will serve as an important compass for Jung-gu students in choosing schools that fit their aptitudes and future career paths. I hope this will be a valuable opportunity for parents and students to obtain diverse school information and set clear admission directions through personalized counseling.”
